WHERE THEY ARE NOW
Jolynn Meza Wynkoop '17
Jolynn graduated from OSU with a degree in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Public Health. She is now at the University of Notre Dame pursuing her Masters degree in Global Health. She will be traveling to Ecuador this summer to continue her thesis work in investigating parasitic infections in communities living in the Napo River Basin in the Amazon Rain-forest. While at OSU, she was involved at the Newman Center for three years. She served on registration/logistics for Fragua, helping to coordinate the GOFISH retreat, and served on the leadership team as the Outreach Chair. Her one piece of advice to all students is this, "Take advantage of all of the events and formation that you can. Even if you have 20 assignments due this week, go to mass. Go to the socials. Go to Alpha. Lead a retreat. Give a talk. Lend a helping hand. When you look back, these are the memories that are going to stick with you. Jesus is amazing and so giving. Never be afraid to give as much as you can."
