Communications: Social Media

  1. Pray for your ministry, your team’s ministries, and how God wants to use your skills (This is the most important role!).

  1. Attend events and put live pictures and videos on Instagram story

  2. Advertise events, etc. for people to come to on both Instagram and Facebook

  3. Post videos that the videographer makes

  4. Create Facebook events

  5. Make albums of events on Facebook

  6. Work with other communication team members

  7. Adhere to the branding of the Newman Center

  8. Create new ways to show our beautiful Newman Center and all of our students

  9. Praise God in your work!

This position's main goal is to advertise events, retreats, programs, and any other activity that other ministries are putting on in, or pertaining to, the Newman Center and its students. A big role of this job is giving moments of your day to post whatever needs to be posted. Posts must be made on time in accordance with the ministry’s preferred date for advertising, and are not to be put off or postponed. This is a very time and due-date oriented position.
