Communications: Graphic Design
Pray for your ministry, your team’s ministries, and how God wants to use your skills.
Communicate the good news of Christ through beauty and clarity.
Events should be advertised in a way that reflects understandably the purpose of the event, while appealing to the target audience.
Typical graphics may include fliers, posters, social media posts, mass announcement slides, stickers, and other forms on specific occasions.
Graphic Designer should understand hierarchy, alignment, contrast, print vs. digital settings, and the Newman brand (which can be taught in a short training if these terms are unfamiliar to the applicant).
The Graphic Designer should be knowledgeable in the events within the Newman Center, in order to proactively remind event leaders to be thinking early about how they want to communicate their event.
Work with other communication team members.
Skill in Adobe Illustrator preferred, but Canva is acceptable and may be taught in a short training if unfamiliar to the applicant.
