Men's Silent Retreat

  • 2127 NW Monroe Ave Corvallis, OR (map)

The Annual Retreat is an opportunity to step away from your day-to-day life for a weekend and focus on your relationship with God.  This is a silent retreat, and you will have time to yourself to both look back on your past year of spiritual life, and to make a plan for the year to come.  There will be talks to teach you and to guide you in your prayer, and an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Confession, and the Mass.

This year's retreat will be preached by Father Aaron Stettler from the St John Society on Respond to the Call: Becoming a Man of God.

Retreat Description:

During this retreat, we will contemplate the different stages a man goes through in his life from boyhood to manhood. We will look at key elements of each stage, threats and wounds, and ways to grow and overcome those obstacles so we can be the men that God created us to be and live out the mission we have been entrusted.

The Annual Retreat is for sophomores and above who have gone through the Alpha program and are now seeking to deepen in their knowledge of the faith and strengthen their prayer life.

The cost of the retreat is $80, and we will organize carpools to Mt. Angel. Logistical information and a packing list will be emailed out to retreatants as the retreat approaches.
