During this Advent, we invite you to prepare for Christmas through an Advent Virtual Retreat inspired by St. John Henry Newman.

How does it work?

1. Advent Reflection: The first three Sundays of Advent, we will email you a video with an advent reflection based on a sermon by St John Henry Newman.

2. Read a sermon by St John Henry Newman: Once you have watched the video during that week you read the assigned sermon.

3. Spiritual Exercise: In the video a spiritual exercise will be provided so you can assimilate the sermon of Newman into your life. We recommend that every week of Advent you assign a time and a day to do a holy hour (a whole hour of prayer – preferably before the Blessed Sacrament).

Additionally, you can pick up an Advent Booklet with reflections based on the daily Gospel readings of Advent.
