Confirmation
At the Newman Center we provide a 10 week prep for reception of the sacrament of confirmation.
The program requires attending the Confirmation classes during the Winter and Spring terms at the Newman Center. The process includes individual interviews, classes and registration.
Before the date of Confirmation (May) you will need to send us a photocopy of your Baptism Certificate, or some other document proving your Baptism.
If you were baptized outside the Catholic Church and you want to be confirmed, you will be required to go through the RCIA process. Contact St. Mary’s parish to find out about RCIA, 541.757.1988
This classes are a preparation course for adults who have received First Communion. If you have not received First Communion, you can be confirmed, but you need prepare both for Communion and Confirmation. That will require that you sign up for the RCIA catechesis.
