RCIA, or the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, is a year-long course that walks participants through the beliefs and practices of the Catholic Church. This course is designed for those seeking to enter the Catholic Church, but begins with an exploratory period where participants can ask questions and discern whether they will take the next step and enter the Church. At the Oregon State University Newman Center, RCIA is called Summit.

The RCIA course meets Thursdays from 6-7 PM at the Newman Center beginning in October.

Note: Registration is not a commitment to join the Roman Catholic Church. The first section of the course is an inquiry period open to those who want to learn more and are discerning the possibility of becoming Catholic.

If you are an adult or a non-student please contact St. Mary's Parish for information on their RCIA program.
