How to Get Started

What is the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation)?

The RCIA is a conversion journey. It begins with an Inquiry Period which is a time of faith exploration and an introduction to the faith life and practices  of the Catholic Church.  For those who choose to go further, there are steps or stages preparing the participants to make a conscious   decision whether or not they wish to receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism,  Confirmation,  and Eucharist.

What is the time commitment?

Our weekly sessions are on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. at St Mary’s Parish from September till Easter (March/April).
